The Company
G-TEK was founded in 1995 (www.g-tek.se), and has, since December 2024, been part of Dacke Industri. The headquarter is in Järfälla close to Stockholm (Sweden).
This Swedish SME employs 42 people and offers system solutions and components for engine installations. With production and warehouse facilities in Motala (Sweden) and Ghent (Belgium), G-TEK achieves annual sales of €17 million and maintains a sound profit level.
G-TEK has been has built long-lasting relationships with customers, mainly active in the off-highway sector. Typical industries include mining, material handling, forest machinery, military vehicles and construction machines. Their inhouse capacities include cutting, welding, CNC turning, insulation and assembly, and results in customized products with short lead times.
While G-TEK is already well established in Northern Europe, the company now aims to further expand its presence in Central Europe. To support this growth, G-TEK is recruiting an International Business Developer.
Your role
As an International Business Developer, you are responsible for driving sales and expanding G-TEK's key accounts and prospects in central Europe (Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium and the Netherlands). You focus on building strategic partnerships and developing long-term collaborations in a dynamic and fast-changing environment.
- This role combines operational responsiveness with long-term commercial thinking. You meet regularly with customers and new prospects – both on-site and online – as well as close coordination with internal teams. You report directly to the CEO.
- You identify and analyze customers’ needs to offer tailored solutions that meet their specific goals and challenges. With your strong interpersonal skills, you build long-term, trust-based relationships that lead to customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Defining a sales strategy comes naturally to you. You know how to unlock potential and how to increase revenue in a sustainable way.
- You work closely with other departments such as sales, product development, and customer support to ensure that customer needs are met effectively.
- Thanks to your experience in contract negotiations, you secure agreements that benefit both the customer and G-TEK. You also stay on top of market trends and competitor activity, and adjust your approach accordingly. Your main goal is to develop business and to make sure G-TEK grows with high profitability in a sustainable way.
Your Profile
- Your technical education is preferably supplemented with economic studies.
- You have at least five years of experience in sales, customer management or a related role, including at least two years as a Key Account Manager or in a similar strategic role.
- You have strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, allowing you to handle complex business agreements with confidence.
- Your analytical mindset and interest in technology enable you to develop insightful strategies based on customer data and market trends.
- Sales is in your DNA: your result-oriented mindset drives you to meet and exceed targets.
- You are used to work independently. You organise your planning on a proactive and self-driven way.
- With your outgoing nature and strong interpersonal skills, you build and maintain trusted relationships with customers, new prospects and stakeholders at all levels.
- You are fluent in English. German knowledge is preferable for this region.
- You are eager to travel 25% of your time, showing an open mindset to learn from foreign contexts.
